As a big game guide specializing in moose, bear, and turkey hunts, Tenley focuses her attention on mentoring youth and novice hunters; for many it is their first big game hunt. Over the years she has successfully guided nearly 50 moose hunts, achieving a 100% opportunity rate with 96% of her hunters tagging moose. Tenley also guides anglers in search of native brook trout on Maine's remote ponds and brooks, leads flat water paddling adventures by canoe or kayak, and offers nature photo safaris. She is a Maine Professional Guides Association Life Member, former member of their Board of Directors, and in 2014 was the recipient of the Maine Professional Guides Distinguished Service Award. Tenley's advocacy to protect the resources that make possible opportunities to hunt, fish, and recreate were naturally sparked during time spent in the woods and on the waters throughout the state where she has guided in 11 of Maine's 16 counties over the past 25 years.
