I am a Registered Maine Guide and the founder of Bald Porcupine Outfitters, specializing in guided upland hunting and fly-fishing experiences in western Maine. My upland hunts focus on ruffed grouse and woodcock over English Pointers, with each day shaped around the guest’s experience, interests, pace, and goals. I also offer personalized Sporting School instruction covering wingshooting, firearm safety, bird-dog handling and field etiquette, fly-fishing, woodsmanship, wild-game preparation, and sporting traditions. I welcome beginners as well as experienced hunters and anglers, with an emphasis on safety, conservation, ethical practices, and respect for the land, wildlife, and dogs.
